After a lawsuit, Mіsroѕoft is “killing” the automatic installation of Wіndowѕ 10

After being sentenced to pay compensation of 10,000 dollars to its client, the technological leader Microsoft finally decided to end the automatic installation of Windows 10.

Yesterday it became clear that a lady from Seattle has filed a lawsuit against the corporation and managed to win it. Terry Goldstein blames Microsoft, that after Windows 10 has installed itself on her laptop, the PC started to malfunction.

The head of the team that created the operating system, Terry Myerson, stated that a number of complaints from consumers have been received.

“This week, we’ll roll out a new upgrade experience with clear options to upgrade now, schedule a time, or decline the free offer,” he said, quoted by The Verge.

It seems Microsoft has realized that their ambitious plan to spread the new product proved as fast as possible proved to be too aggressive and cost them the trust of the customers.

Still users with Windows 7 and 8.1 have another month to try the free version of the operation system. From July 30 they will have to pay 119 dollars to use it.
