CEO of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk wrote on Twitter on Sunday that he intends to publish soon the second part of his “Top Secret Tesla Masterplan” after the past few difficult weeks, the company experienced in the Silicon Valley, reported Reuters.
The tweet says: “Working on Top Secret Tesla Masterplan, Part 2. Hoping to publish later this week.”
Musk’s plan was written amid investigations of two crashes of Tesla cars and the continuing questions about the company’s plans to merge with SolarCity.
On July 1, a driver of Tesla Model X crashed in Pennsylvania. The National Administration of Traffic Safety (NHTSA) announced last week that it’s investigating the case “to determine whether automated functions were in use at the time of the crash.”
From Tesla commented that there is “no reason to believe that Autopilot had anything to do with this accident.”
“No data at this point to indicate that Autopilot was engaged or not engaged,” stated later from the company.
This happened after NHTSA revealed that it’s investigating the crash of 7 May in Florida, where a driver of Tesla Model S died as the car was on autopilot.
Last month, Tesla offered to acquire SolarCity, where Musk is Chairman and chief shareholder. He himself expects the deal to help Tesla to enter the market of sustainable energy for households and companies.
